										Born in Lanark and educated at Wishaw High School. Bob is a graduate of the part time course at the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow. A founding member of G5 architecture & design limited in November 2005 he has over 29 years experience in architectural practice and has obtained a varied and diverse range of experience in both public and private sectors. Bob has been involved in the profession since 1979, starting his career as an architectural apprentice in the offices of William Nimmo and Partners in Glasgow. His career path has seen him intimately involved in a wide range of commissions in all areas of both public and private sectors, leisure, commercial, Sporting, industrial and Public and Private sector housing.

							He has been responsible for a number of fast track leisure and commercial projects, which include proposals at a number of prominent sporting venues. Bob was an employee of Motherwell District Council and latterly North Lanarkshire Council from April 1994 to August 1998 during which time he was responsible for the successful delivery of capital and revenue projects for a number of internal client departments, namely Chief Executives Department, Finance Department and Housing Department. Throughout his time in architecture Bob has developed an excellent understanding of the commercial and business aspects of private practice and the need to satisfy client requirements by delivering the highest possible quality of product.  This pro-active stance has seen Bob and G5 enjoy a number of significant and repeat client commissions.
